CARROLL COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 30-year-old man has been sentenced in connection to a homicide that occurred on Christmas Day in 2022.
Carroll County authorities said Khadarron Foreman was sentenced on June 6, 2023, to 20 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
Foreman was convicted by a jury on the charge of manslaughter on May 30, 2024.
Carroll County deputies said they responded to a shots fired call on Carroll County Road 65 on Sunday, December 25, 2022, just after 4:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Sammie Louis Bryant with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Bryant was taken to Tyler Holmes Hospital and was later airlifted to a Jackson hospital where he died.
Foreman was arrested the same day and booked into the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility.
