HAZLEHURST, Miss. (WJTV) – Hazlehurst firefighters responded to a fire at a church.

The fire happened at Spring Ridge Missionary Baptist Church just after 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 7.

According to firefighters, no one was injured during the fire.

“This is a church that had a tree go through it several months ago. But once the investigation gets underway, we can find out what’s going on,” said Hazlehurst Fire Chief Matt Watts.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
