JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Firefighters responded to a fire at a South Jackson church on Saturday, June 15.

The fire happened in the 100 block of Alta Woods Boulevard. Crews spent hours battling the fire, but the main building was heavily damaged.

The facility was last home to the New Dimension International Church. Before that, it had been Alta Woods Presbyterian Church.
