2 arrested, 2 wanted in shooting death of Jackson DJ

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested two suspects and are searching for two additional suspects in connection to the shooting death of a local DJ.

Detective Tommie Brown said Malik Ray, 20, and Cortez George were arrested for the murder of Anthony Davis, 23.

According to investigators, Davis was shot and killed after suspects in two vehicles fired shots at one another near North State Street and Cedars of Lebanon Drive. One of the vehicles involved, a black Chrysler 300, was recovered on Tuesday, January 30 at Autumn Place Apartments.

Brown said officers are still searching for Martravious Douglas, 18, and Aidan Mayes, 18. They both have active warrants for capital murder.
