Man charged with murder after victim run over in Jackson liquor store parking lot

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a body was found in the parking lot of a liquor store.

The body was located on Interstate 55 South Frontage Road near Bounds Street on Monday, June 24.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was run over by a vehicle at the location. The victim has not been identified.

According to Brown, 35-year-old Jamarl Chambliss was arrested and charged with murder in this case.
