PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) – The State Imposed boil water notice for the City of Pearl has been lifted.
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) placed the city under a boil water notice after water sampling showed the presence of E. coli. The notice was initially issued on Thursday, June 27.
“After working diligently to identify the cause of the contaminated sample, we were able to submit new samples that were found to be clear. We’re grateful to our dedicated employees who worked so hard to resolve this situation,” officials with the City of Pearl said on Saturday, June 29.
