CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – A fire damaged two homes in the City of Clinton.

Officials said the fires occurred on Lindale Street around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9.

According to officials, the initial fire spread to an adjoining home. Firefighters were able to contain the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The fire was initially reported by an employee at the YMCA, located across the street from the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
