JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating a homicide after a man’s body was discovered.

The body was located on Pine Tree Drive around 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was identified as Marvin Houck, Jr. According to Brown, the victim was shot in the head.

Police have not released any information about a possible suspect at this time.
