JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police have issued an arrest warrant for the man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting at a club.

Detective Tommie Brown said police are searching for 35-year-old Willie James. He will be charged with murder and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The shooting happened shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 7 at Club Twilight in the 3000 block of Livingston Road.

Brown said when officers arrived at the location, they were told that a man had been shot multiple times and transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC).

Brown said the victim, 47-year-old Willie Luckett, was pronounced deceased upon his arrival.
