RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Part of Interstate 20 in Rankin County has been closed due to a vehicle fire.

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), all lanes of I-20 East past Highway 43 in Pelahatchie have been blocked.

There’s no word on any injuries at this time. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
