JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was arrested after a chase from Jackson into Pearl on Thursday, August 15.

Bailey Martin, press secretary for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), said Capitol police attempted to stop a vehicle around 6:30 p.m. near Ellis Avenue.

Martin said the vehicle failed to stop, and officers chased the vehicle into Pearl. The suspect’s vehicle came to a stop near Knight Road.

The driver, 38-year-old Jubory Knight, was arrested and charged with felony fleeing.
