PURVIS, Miss. (WHLT) – Purvis police said a man was shot and more than 300 pounds of marijuana were seized.
On Tuesday, August 20, police responded to a call in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Dr. in Purvis.
When officers arrived at the location, they discovered a 47-year-old Purvis man had been shot multiple times. The victim is in stable condition.
During their investigation, police seized more than 300 pounds of marijuana, more than 200 packs of THC-infused candy and five handguns.
