LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Family and friends of a missing Lawrence County man asked the public to help find him.

The group gathered at the Monticello City Hall on Friday. They’ve been looking for Gregory Varnado, 42, who has been missing since August 15. A Silver Alert has been issued for Varnado.

He was last seen in a blue 2020 Chevy Equinox.

Family and friends said they want their loved one back home.

“It makes us all feel good as to what our family is. See the support of people that are just as concerned as we are to show up out here and to meet in unity, to come together to figure out, where is Greg? And we ask that, if anything that you know, that you can do to help us, we need your help. And we want you to look at Greg Varnado as your brother also,” said George Varnado, Jr., Gregory’s brother.
