HOLMES COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Ridgeland man was killed during a crash in Holmes County.

The crash occurred on Interstate 55 in Holmes County just after 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 26.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 35-year-old Albert Allbritton, of Ridgeland, was traveling south on I-55 when it collided with the median and the guardrail.

Troopers said Allbritton received fatal injuries and died at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
