Body found on road in South Jackson: police

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Police are investigating after a body was discovered in South Jackson.

The body was discovered on TV Road at Maddox Road on Thursday, September 5.

Detective Tommie Brown said a man’s body was found in the road. The Hinds County coroner identified the victim as 28-year-old Kasim Hassan Turner, of Utica

The coroner said Turner was shot multiple times.
