JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed at a hotel in North Jackson.

The shooting occurred at the OYO Townhouse on Beasley Road on Monday, September 9.

Detective Tommie Brown said the 30-year-old victim died from gunshot wounds at the location. The victim was identified as Susana Resendiz by the Hinds County coroner.

Police have not released any information about a possible suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
