Clinton bank robber jumps counter, takes large amount of money

CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Clinton police are searching for the man responsible for a bank robbery.

The robbery occurred at the Regions bank on Highway 80 around noon on Friday, September 13.

According to Clinton police, the robber jumped over the teller counter at the bank and took a large amount of money. Investigators said the man did not claim to have a weapon, and no weapon was visibly displayed during the incident.

The suspect fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle.

No bank employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
