JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Jackson woman was found stabbed to death inside her bedroom, police said.

According to Investigations Deputy Chief Sequerna Banks, a family member found the 58-year-old woman inside her home in the 3400 block of Exchange Drive on Monday, September 23.

Banks said the victim had been stabbed multiple times. The Hinds County coroner identified the woman as Margaret Washington.

Police believe the Washington’s vehicle was stolen by the suspect, and it was later found in South Jackson. Police do not have a suspect or a motive at this time.
