BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon residents want a traffic light installed at an intersection along Highway 18.
This comes after Greyson Huff, 18, was killed during a crash on Friday, September 13 on Highway 18 at Sunset Drive.
During a public meeting at the Brandon Public Library on Wednesday, many voiced their opinions and concerns about the intersection. Huff’s mother said many people have been affected in that area.
“September 13 was my son’s time to go. That is when the good Lord called him, but I know that I would not want any other mother to ever feel the heartache and the pain that our family has gone through. And I know that a stoplight is probably not going to fix that, but it can help,” she said.
A memorial has bene put up at the intersection in remembrance of Huff.
