RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Rain on Tuesday caused some flooding in Rankin County. The rain triggered the flooding because the soil in the Jackson-metro area is already saturated.
A 12 News viewer shared pictures of the flooding in the Wood Ridge subdivision off of Highway 468.
There was also flash flooding at Patrick Farms Golf Club in Pearl Tuesday afternoon. According to a 12 News viewer, crews are working to drain the course property, so it will not be damaged.
