RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Brandon man pled guilty to aggravated domestic violence.
Madison and Rankin Counties’ District Attorney Bubba Bramlett said James Dylan Little, 22, was sentenced to 20 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with 10 years to serve and 10 years suspended.
Upon his release, Little will be supervised by MDOC for five years. He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Brandon police said they responded to a call made by a concerned neighbor of the victim on April 28, 2024. When officers arrived at the location, they found the victim had sustained significant injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Little was arrested for aggravated domestic violence.
