JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – College football returns to Mississippi for the 2024 season! The Sports Zone team has special coverage ahead of this week’s games.

The Sports Zone Saturday show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on WJTV 12 News and on WREG.

No. 9 Ole Miss will head to Death Valley on Saturday to face Louisiana State University. The game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.

Mississippi State will also be on the road to face Georgia. The game will kickoff at 3:15 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.

Southern Miss will be on the road to face ULM. The game will kickoff at 4:00 p.m. CT.

Jackson State will be on a bye week.

Alcorn State will be on the road to face Grambling. The game will kickoff at 2:00 p.m. CT on the ESPN+.
