JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman was arrested after she allegedly shot a man in Jackson.

Detective Tommie Brown said the shooting happened in the 2500 block of Williamson Avenue on Tuesday, October 15.

Brown said a fight between the man and the woman led to the shooting. The victim was taken to a local hospital, but there’s no word on his condition.

The unidentified woman has been arrested.
