JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be a temporary ramp closure from Pearl Street to Interstate 55 in Jackson.

Officials with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) said the entrance ramp from Pearl Street to I-55 South will be closed from Friday, October 18 to Friday, November 15.

The closure is part of the bridge repair and inspection that’s being conducted on I-55 in Jackson.

MDOT officials said drivers should seek an alternate route.
