THEE Groove – Jackson – Friday
- The event highlights three years of service, mentoring and community for HBCU students. There will be a live performance by The Southern Komfort Brass Band.
Food Truck Friday – Jackson – Friday
- This multi-vendor event celebrates Jackson’s food truck cuisine and culture.
Belhaven Block Party – Jackson – Friday
- There will be live music, drinks and ice cream.
Fleet Feet Coffee Run – Ridgeland – Friday
- The group usually makes a large loop around the area. After the run, the first round of coffee is free on Fleet Feet!
Live at Five – Natchez – Friday
- Live at Five is a free, family-friendly, outdoor concert series held at the Bandstand on the Natchez Bluff overlooking the Mississippi River.
Wine & Spine – Vicksburg – Friday
- Join author Sara Berry as she shares the gripping tale of “Tap Code: The Epic Survival Tale of a Vietnam POW and the Secret Code that Changed Everything.”
Dinosaurs Around the World – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- With advanced animatronics, a multi-layered narrative, cutting-edge research, in an outdoor environment surrounded by nature, you’ll experience the Age of Reptiles brought back to life.
Flags from Mississippi – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- The exhibit features 20 flags made from a variety of fabrics, such as wool and silk. Some were sewn by hand. Highlights include an original Magnolia flag, adopted in 1861 as the first official flag of Mississippi, that has been saved by conservators after it became severely fragmented.
Atomic Age Exhibit – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- The exhibition explores the history of the Federal Civil Defense Administration established to prepare Americans for the perils of the new Atomic Age.

Access for All: Free First Saturdays – Jackson – Saturday
- The MMA offers free admission to exhibitions, drop-in artmaking, and a free guided tour on the first Saturday of every month as part of Access for All.
National Novel Writing Month – Jackson – Saturday
- Join us at the historic Eudora Welty House & Garden every Saturday afternoon this November for a cozy, inspiring writing space as part of National Novel Writing Month.
Mississippi Farmers Market – Jackson – Saturday

Game of Throws Dodgeball Tournament – Clinton – Saturday
- Six players will compete for each team additional team members will be available as substitutes. Substitutes may enter only in between games or in the case of an injury. Teams must be co-ed with at least two female players starting the game for each team.
