JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man, who was wanted in connection to a homicide, was found deceased.

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said Roddrick Jones’ body was found in the 900 block of Raymond Road around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20.

Jones was wanted in connection to the death of Patrick Williams, who was found shot to death inside a home on Greenway Court on Thursday, October 24.

According to Wade, Jones was shot multiple times. The police chief said witnesses provided conflicting statements to investigators.

Wade said Jones’ death is currently a death investigation, but he expects an arrest to be made in the case.
