Two women wanted for murder in Jackson arrested in Magee

MAGEE, Miss. (WJTV) – Magee police announced two suspects, who were wanted for murder in Jackson, have been arrested.

According to investigators, Simpson County deputies and Magee police arrested two women around 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2 on Highway 49 South near the Love’s Truck Stop.

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade announced on Tuesday, December 3 that the two women were wanted in connection to the homicide at the Crown Motel on Boling Street. They’re now in the custody of the Jackson Police Department (JPD).

Wade identified the suspects as Angela Rhodes, 34, and Ariana Expose, 25. According to the police chief, Rhodes and Expose arranged a rendezvous with the victim, Jeremy Easterling, before they killed him.

Rhodes and Expose appeared in court in Jackson on Tuesday, December 3. They both received a $500,000 bond.
