FLORENCE, Miss. (WJTV) – Rankin County deputies said a Florence man was arrested for stealing a tow truck from a business.

Deputies responded to a business on Cleary Road around 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3 after receiving a call about a burglary and the theft of the tow truck.

Investigators said they obtained evidence that Edmond Larry Teasley, Jr., 44, broke into the business and stole the $75,000 tow truck. He was arrested around 9:45 a.m.

Teasley was charged with commercial burglary and motor vehicle theft. He is currently being held at the Rankin County Detention Center without bond.
