RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Rankin County deputies arrested a man in connection to multiple auto burglaries.

Deputies responded to the Live Oaks neighborhood off of Highway 468 around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 1 after receiving a call about an auto burglary.

Over the past month, deputies said they’ve received calls about multiple burglaries in the neighborhood.

They identified the suspect as Jakvious Derrion Galloway, who lived in the neighborhood. Investigators said he had been disposing of the stolen property in the City of Jackson.

The investigation is ongoing, and Galloway could face more than 10 counts of auto burglary.
