ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Two people died during a house fire in Attala County.

Breezy News reported the fire happened at a mobile home on Attala Road 4171 on Thursday, December 5.

According to first responders, the home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived at the location.

Two bodies were recovered from the scene and were sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for identification.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
