JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed early Monday morning.

The shooting occurred in the 900 block of West Northside Drive around 1:45 a.m. on Monday, December 9.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim, Dalveon Russell, was shot at the location and pronounced deceased at the scene.
