JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting.

The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Grand Avenue on Thursday, December 12.

Detective Tommie Brown said Christopher Walton, 52, was shot multiple times at the location and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to Brown, police arrested Kalus Kelly, 23, in connection to the fatal shooting. He has been charged with murder.
