JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – For the third time in four years, the Jackson State Tigers will play in the Celebration Bowl.

This comes after the Tigers defeated Southern 41-13 during the SWAC Championship on December 7, 2024.

Before the Celebration Bowl on Saturday, December 14, WJTV 12 News will host a Sports Zone special at 10:00 a.m. CT to preview the game.

The Sports Zone 12 Team will have exclusive interviews and in-depth insight into the Tigers’ game against South Carolina State.
