JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for a man in connection to a recent homicide.

Police said the fatal shooting occurred in the 800 block of Powell Rhodes Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 14. Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said the victim, Camaurice Davis, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Wade said a warrant was issued for the arrest of Dias Thompson on Monday, December 16.
