Infant reported missing in Mississippi found on mother’s doorstep

GRENADA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Grenada County deputies said A’Marion Nason was returned home in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was left on his mother’s doorstep in a plastic box wrapped in a red blanket, wearing a Ziploc bag for a diaper.

Grenada County Sheriff’s Office and MedStat EMS were on scene shortly after.  Deputies said Anthony Mitchell is still wanted for Domestic Violence, and will most likely be facing more charges after Saturday morning’s discovery.

GRENADA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A Missing/Endangered Child Alert has been issued for a 10-week old baby in Mississippi.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) said A’marion Nason, of Holcomb, was last seen around 7:17 a.m. on Thursday, December 19 in the 700 block of Powell Road in Grenada County. Nason is 17.29 inches, weights 7.5 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Agents said Nason may be accompanied by Anthony Rayshun Mitchell, who is described as a Black male, 5’6″, weighing 178 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Nason may have personal items that include a black and orange Nike onesie and a blue, black and orange cap.
