JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Storms overnight damaged roads, homes and left thousands without electricity in the Jackson metro.

Overnight, a tree fell on a road in Jackson and on a Madison house. Around 4,500 people around the metro are currently without power, according to Entergy.

Over 90% of outages in the metro on Friday morning are in Hinds and Madison Counties, according to Entergy power outage data.
