JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – One person died and another was injured during a shooting at a Jackson bar, police said.

The shooting occurred at Dynamic Lounge & Grill in the 2500 block of J.R. Lynch Street before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 4.

Detective Tommie Brown said two people were shot multiple times at the location. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment.

The two victims have not been identified. Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
