4 arrested for fatal shooting at Holmes County gas station

HOLMES COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Holmes County deputies arrested four suspects in connection to a fatal shooting at gas station on New Year’s Eve.

Holmes County Sheriff Willie March said the suspects were identified as Sendarius Craft, 21; Amari Ward, 19; Jamal Sly, 23; and Amante Ward, 20.

The four suspects were each charged with two counts of murder. Their bonds were set at $500,000 for each count.

The shooting happened at the Shell gas station on Highway 17 around 11:00 p.m.

The sheriff said Brian Grisby, Jr., 21, was found deceased in front of the store. De Marion Sly, 19, died at a local hospital.
