MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – An 18-wheeler overturned on Interstate 55 in Madison County.

Troopers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the crash occurred on I-55 North near the 122-mile marker on Wednesday, January 8.

According to MHP, the driver sustained unknown injuries.

Both lanes of I-55 have been closed to allow emergency personnel to clear the roadway.
