MADISION PARISH, La. (WJTV) – Louisiana State Police (LSP) arrested a Mississippi man in connection to a recent homicide.

Investigators said Nathan Kirkley, 36, of Vicksburg, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He was booked into the Madison Parish Detention Center.

Kirkley is accused of killing Brittany Mays, 35, of Vicksburg, in the 500 block of Byson Road in Madison Parish on January 9.

The investigation is ongoing.
