BROOKHAVEN, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was killed after being hit by a train in Brookhaven.

The Daily Leader reported the incident occurred on Sunday, January 12.

According to Lincoln County Coroner Blake Wallace, Roy Dwayne Coleman, of Brookhaven, was walking down the railroad track when he was struck by a train. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The incident is under investigation.
