JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A bystander was injured during a shooting at a Jackson club, police said.

The shooting occurred outside Club Dynamic on Lynch Street around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 19.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was sitting inside a vehicle in the parking lot and was caught in the crossfire of two suspects. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the middle finger and thumb.

According to Brown, one of the suspects left the scene in what is believed to be a black Nissan. The two suspects have not been identified.
