JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Jackson Walmart employee was injured after being hit by a vehicle.

The incident occurred at the Walmart on Greenway Drive around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the employee had clocked out and was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when she was hit.

Brown said the employee was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No charges have been filed in the case.
