JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police arrested a man in connection to a deadly shooting.

The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Wingfield Circle on Sunday, January 26.

Detective Tommie Brown said the unidentified victim was shot at the location and pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Detectives arrested Darrius Jordan, 33, in connection to the case. He has been charged with murder.
