JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police said one person was arrested after a carjacking.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the carjacking occurred on Claiborne Avenue on Tuesday, January 28.

According to Brown, officers later arrested one suspect on Julienne Street. Capitol police also responded to the scene to assist.

The suspect has not been identified.
