ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – An Attala County Grand Jury has indicted the former Attala County superintendent in connection to the death of his wife.

Breezy News reported Bryan Weaver, 49, was indicted on the charge of first-degree murder in connection to the death of Tracy Weaver, 46. Authorities said she was shot and killed inside their home on August 28, 2023.

Bryan Weaver was arrested on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, and transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility. His bond was set at $200,000.
