LINCOLN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A four-year-old boy died after a single-vehicle crash in Bogue Chitto.

The Daily Leader reported the crash occurred on Bogue Chitto Road about a mile away from Pricedale Drive on February 18, 2025. Authorities said the vehicle left the road and struck multiple trees.

Lincoln County Coroner Blake Wallace said Lincoln Carona, 4, died at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson on February 20, 2025.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven for treatment and was later released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
