HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WHLT) – A woman was arrested in Hattiesburg for allegedly shooting her husband.

The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Second Terrace just before 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.

Police said the male victim stated that he had been shot by his wife, Brandi Jackson, 43, following a fight. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

Jackson was arrested and charged with domestic violence-aggravated assault. She was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
