MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – One person died during a crash on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Madison County.

According to the Gluckstadt Fire Chief, the crash occurred on the Natchez Trace just north of Highway 43 on Tuesday, March 4.

One person died at the scene, and another person was transported to a local hospital. There’s no word on the condition of the injured victim.

Madison County Deputy Coroner Joel Shows identified the victim who died as Paul Hardin, 63.
