JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two men were injured after firing shots at each other at a Jackson club, police said.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said officers received a call about the shooting at Club Anonymous on Medgar Evers Boulevard just before 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 9.

According to Brown, detectives responded to a hospital where two men were transported by private vehicles. The two men were undergoing surgery when detectives arrived.

Witnesses stated that two men got into a fight at the club, which led to the shooting.
